MY PART OF THE PROCESS:
You can expect me to behave in a professional and ethical manner; to be respectful and nonjudgmental. I will offer suggestions and direct the flow of the session while respecting your right to determine the pace and purpose of our work together.
I have continued to explore the counseling field throughout my career and that has allowed me flexibility to address a range of concerns and adapt the counseling process to a variety of people. PRIMARILY, I use Hakomi* and the Re-Creation of the Self* therapies. In these, I guide the client to mindfully notice their whole inner experience: thought, emotions, memories, sensations and energy. This leads to awareness of automatic and unconscious beliefs, behaviors and patterns that often cause unnecessary suffering. With awareness comes the freedom to develop in ways that create greater satisfaction both in how you express yourself and how you receive what life can offer.
The Re-Creation of the Self model teaches how to shift from limiting and painful self states to the ever present, expansive and truest core self.

The important thing is what it has always been, an opening of one's being to include the being and well being of another. The important thing, the effective thing, is to be a portal through which the love
that is present can welcome
the love that has been waiting.
